NewCold, a global leader in advanced temperature-controlled logistics, has officially launched operations at its state-of-the-art facility in Warsaw (Nowy Modlin), Poland.

The €112 million investment marks a significant milestone in NewCold’s expansion across Europe and underscores its commitment to building a future-proof food supply chain.

With a capacity of 94,600 pallet positions, the new site increases NewCold’s total footprint in Poland to 207,200 pallet positions. The fully automated, energy-efficient facility is one of the most advanced of its kind in the world, supporting long-term economic growth while positioning Poland as a central logistics hub in the region.

“We’re growing in Poland, across Europe, and globally because we’ve had the foresight to build a future-proof food supply chain—powered by modern energy solutions, advanced automation, and a strong logistics network connecting strategic warehouse locations.,” said Artur Spala Operations Director CEE.

The facility is powered by NewCold’s proprietary software, which integrates directly with customer enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. This seamless digital connection enhances supply chain transparency, enabling full visibility, traceability, and scalability to meet evolving demand.

In addition to its operational benefits, the Nowy Modlin site is expected to create approximately 90 new jobs in the region and contribute meaningfully to Poland’s logistics infrastructure. Combined with NewCold’s recent investment in Kutno, the new facility supports a more resilient and efficient food supply chain across Europe.

The Nowy Modlin facility exemplifies NewCold’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and service excellence. It is not only an investment in infrastructure, but in people, progress, and the future of food logistics.
